Question #1: Regarding the 4" frame “around the board” 2.1.3:
Does this mean the visual opening of the board is 39" x 26", with an acceptable overall outside dimension (including the frame) being 47" x 34"?
Response #1: The overall board is 49" x 32", with 2 inches off on the post sides and 1 ¾ inches on the top and bottom for the frame.
Question #2: Regarding the frame construction as described in 2.1.3.2:
Is the frame to be a physical aluminum profile?
If so, what material thickness is requested? Should it match the 3mm board thickness or be a heavier profile?
Response #2: Yes, the frame is a structural grade aluminum posts. The sign thickness is 3mm, and since it needs to slide into the frame, the frame thickness is 3mm with an additional 1/8 inch to allow proper sliding.
Question #3: Regarding the vinyl border in 2.10.2.2:
Is this border to be produced from sign vinyl (decal) or PVC trim? If PVC trim, what thickness would be acceptable?
Response #3: The border will be commercial grade vinyl.
