About this file

This is an Addendum #1 to Invitation to Bid (ITB) 25/26-83 issued by the Florida Department of Revenue (FDOR) for Mobile On-site Shredding Services. The addendum, released on April 27, 2026, revises the procurement schedule for this competitive solicitation. The FDOR seeks to procure mobile on-site shredding services to secure confidential taxpayer and client information, offering both Scheduled Mobile On-Site Shredding Services and On-Demand Mobile On-Site Shredding Services on a county-by-county basis. Vendors were required to submit questions and inquiries by April 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM, with responses posted on the Vendor Information Portal on or about May 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The bid opening was scheduled for May 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM, with the Intent to Award posted on May 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The contract term is four years from execution with no renewal options. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum and submit the acknowledgment form with their response; failure to do so may result in disqualification.

The addendum does not contain specific pricing information, as pricing is to be submitted by vendors using fixed-rate Cost Sheets organized by service type, bin size, and quantity tiers. No set-asides or disadvantaged enterprise restrictions are mentioned in this document. The procurement does not identify any incumbent vendors or current contractors. Funding is contingent upon annual appropriation by the Florida Legislature, with no state liability if appropriations are not secured. Bidders must be certified by the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID) and maintain at least three years of experience in mobile on-site shredding services. Contractors are required to provide locking containers at their own expense and issue Certificates of Destruction for each service call. The ITB permits no fuel adjustment charges, and contractors must accept Visa credit card payments without additional fees.
