About this file

This is a Scope of Services document for Dayton Public Schools' printing and bulk mailing services contract (Project No. 26-012). The scope encompasses general printing services including envelopes with printed logos, business cards, promotional materials such as newsletters and brochures, student handbooks, and large-format items including posters, banners, and yard signs. The vendor must demonstrate capability to print in multiple formats with various paper weights and finishes in both CMYK and RGB, and provide finishing services including folding, cutting, saddle-stitch and booklet binding, comb and coil binding, perfect binding, laminating, collating, and packaging. Additionally, the vendor must provide full-service bulk mailing support compliant with USPS regulations across multiple mail classes including First-Class Mail, USPS Marketing Mail, nonprofit rates where applicable, and Bound Printed Matter, with mail preparation services encompassing sorting by 5-digit, 3-digit, and carrier route, Intelligent Mail Barcode application, automated envelope inserting, postage metering or permit imprint, and USPS documentation and drop-off.

Given the district's handling of student and personnel records, the vendor must comply with FERPA requirements, utilize secure encrypted file transfer, maintain secure production facilities, execute confidentiality agreements, implement secure disposal procedures for sensitive materials, and maintain cyber liability insurance. The scope document establishes turnaround time expectations differentiated by job type and priority level, though the specific timeframes are incomplete in the provided excerpt. No pricing information, contract term, set-asides, or award date is specified in this scope of services document.
