About this file
The document is a Non-Collusion Affidavit for a bid submission in Lubbock County, Texas. This standard legal form is designed to certify that the bid being submitted is genuine and not the result of collusive practices or anti-competitive behaviors. The form requires the bidder to swear, under oath, that they have not engaged in any activities intended to manipulate the bidding process or secure an unfair advantage over other firms.
The affidavit must be completed, signed by an authorized representative of the bidding firm, and notarized before being included with the bid submission. It serves as a legal declaration that the bidder is submitting a fair and independent proposal, without conspiring with other potential bidders to artificially influence the procurement process. The form provides spaces for the firm's name, the representative's signature and title, and requires notarization to validate the statement.
