About this file
This is a delivery schedule memorandum from the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex Coleman, Florida, outlining four distinct delivery options for third quarter (Q3) fiscal year 2026 food service contracts. Vendors must select and adhere to one of the following schedules: Schedule #1 requires all items in a single shipment delivered April 1-15, 2026; Schedule #2 splits the order into two equal shipments with the first delivery April 1-15, 2026 and second delivery May 1-15, 2026; Schedule #3 divides the order into three equal shipments delivered April 1-15, May 1-15, and June 1-15, 2026 respectively; and Schedule #4 requires weekly deliveries across 13 shipments beginning Monday, April 6, 2026 and ending by Tuesday, June 30, 2026, with produce due Mondays and bread, milk, and eggs due Tuesdays between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. All deliveries must be palletized and wrapped, with non-frozen perishable foods maintained at 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit and frozen foods at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. The facility reserves the right to adjust quantities with one week's notice and will reject deliveries that fail to meet specifications or delivery schedule requirements, which constitute performance issues affecting future award considerations.
The memorandum establishes strict quality and operational standards for this quarter (April 1-June 30, 2026), including a three-day conditional receipt period for inspection and testing, vendor responsibility for picking up rejected items within two weeks at their expense, and observance of federal holidays (Memorial Day May 11 and Juneteenth June 19). Invoices must be mailed or emailed—faxed invoices are not acceptable. The Food Service Warehouse contact numbers are 352-689-3050, 3052, 3165, 3051, or 3056, and questions regarding these requirements should be directed to Angel Metcalf, Food Service Administrator, at ametcalf@bop.gov.
