About this file
This is a delivery schedule memorandum from the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Coleman, Florida, detailing vendor requirements for third quarter 2026 (April 1 – June 30, 2026) food service deliveries. Vendors must adhere to one of four delivery schedules: Schedule #1 requires a single shipment between April 1-15, 2026; Schedule #2 splits orders into two equal shipments (April 1-15 and May 1-15, 2026); Schedule #3 divides orders into three equal shipments (April 1-15, May 1-15, and June 1-15, 2026); and Schedule #4 requires 13 weekly deliveries on Mondays and Tuesdays from April 6 through June 30, 2026, with produce deliveries due Mondays and bread, milk, and eggs due Tuesdays. All deliveries must occur between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM, with no deliveries on weekends or observed federal holidays (Memorial Day on May 11 and Juneteenth on June 19, 2026).
The memorandum specifies strict compliance requirements including all shipments must be palletized and wrapped; non-frozen perishables must maintain temperatures between 34-40°F and frozen foods at 0°F or below; and all items must meet specifications or face rejection and performance notation. Conditional receipt allows a three-day examination and testing period, with unacceptable items subject to vendor-paid pickup within two weeks or disposal. Non-compliance with delivery schedules constitutes a performance issue affecting future award consideration. All invoices must be mailed or emailed only; faxed invoices are not accepted. Contact information for questions is provided through the Food Service Warehouse at 352-689-3050/3052/3165/3051/3056 or via email to Angel Metcalf, Food Service Administrator, at ametcalf@bop.gov.
