STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

FOR

HVAC REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT PURCHASE

1.0 GENERAL

1.1 BACKGROUND

The U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, located at 1 Munro Avenue, Cape May, New Jersey

08204, requires replacement HVAC equipment to support facility operations and training mission readiness. The Cape May coastal environment exposes HVAC equipment to salt air, humidity, and other corrosive conditions. These conditions accelerate equipment wear and reduce equipment life. To maintain reliable heating and cooling service, the Government requires new HVAC equipment for the

Admin Building, Unaccompanied Personnel Housing buildings, CPO Building, and Electronic Support

Detachment building.

1.2 SCOPE

This requirement is for the purchase and delivery of HVAC equipment and one factory-authorized startup visit after Government installation is complete.

The Contractor shall provide the following equipment:

1. One 80-ton Carrier AquaSnap air-cooled chiller for the Admin Building.

2. Two 30-ton Carrier AquaSnap air-cooled chillers for the Unaccompanied Personnel Housing buildings.

1. One 20-ton Carrier AquaSnap air-cooled chiller for the CPO Building.

1. Two 5-ton Carrier split-system heat pump systems for the Electronic Support Detachment building, including air handlers, outdoor condensing units, and thermostats.

This requirement does not include installation. The Government will install the equipment using

TRACEN Cape May Facilities Engineering Public Works Division personnel.

1.3 OBJECTIVE

The objective of this requirement is to purchase factory-assembled HVAC equipment, controls, and accessories that meet the specified model numbers and configurations. The equipment must be suitable for use in the coastal environment at TRACEN Cape May and must support reliable, energy-efficient operation of the affected facilities.

2.0 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS/TASKS
