About this file

This document summarizes a federal solicitation for site support services for a chest x-ray system renovation project. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a request for proposal to award a firm-fixed-price design-build contract for renovating an existing chest x-ray system located in Building 100 at the Bronx VA Medical Center. The renovation area is approximately 600 square feet and will replace an existing GE Definium 8000 system with a SIEMENS Mulpix Fusion Max, including all associated utilities and appurtenances. The solicitation will be a total service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside under NAICS code 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The period of performance is approximately 240 calendar days from notice to proceed, and the magnitude of construction is estimated between $500,000 and $1 million. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about September 15, 2020.
