9. Document 36E77618R0102-014, bottom of page 1 states “The carports are to be double cantilevered steel framed structures and have a metal standing seam roof. The solar module arrays will attach to the metal standing seams using a conventional rail system.” While document 36E77618R0102-013, page 6 CLIN 001, states “The carports are to be double cantilevered steel frame structures and rail supported modules (i.e. the solar module arrays will attach to rail supports rated for 140 mph winds and NOT a metal standing seam type roof).”. Please clarify this discrepancy.
The carports are to be double cantilevered steel framed structures and have a metal standing seam roof. The solar module arrays will attach to the metal standing seams using a conventional rail system meeting the 140 mph winds. B-14 has existing standing seam metal roof.
10. While at the site visit the contractors, COR and CO discussed pushing the due date to January 10th. Please confirm that this is accurate.
The solicitation due date has been extended to Tuesday, January 08th, 2019 at 1:00pm EST.
11. While at the site visit there was some confusion on the system size for the parking canopies. Does the Biloxi VAMC want 1MW DC worth of solar capacity or are they looking for 1MWhr worth of solar production?

31. If bldg. 14 electrical system can support PV connection to an existing panel, can we connect inside the bldg. vice connecting to the ground transformer? (significant cost savings) Separate MV connections for solar PV systems are preferred. The facility prefers that meters be located inside of electrical rooms although there may be some utility interconnection requirements that we are not currently aware of. All metering must be compatible with (and preferably tie back to) the Schneider/Square D Ion system.
32. Please verify the KW DC required for each CLIM.
Total of 592.5 kw.
33. If we can meet the KW DC required at site 1 with less carports, is that acceptable or desirable?
