About this file

This Request for Information (RFI) solicits details about booster pumps at the Willamette National Cemetery for a planned replacement project. The RFI seeks specific technical information including confirmation of existing pump models (15 and 20 horsepower), duties of total dynamic head and GPM, and potential photographic documentation of the pump location. The pumps are approximately 15-20 years old and are situated at the bottom of a 120,000-gallon reservoir, operating in a tandem configuration with multiple motors to manage irrigation system volume and pressure.

The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number 36C78625B0025_1) is being administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration. Key dates include a site visit scheduled for 2 PM on Tuesday, June 17, with questions due by June 25 and bids due by July 14. The project specifically involves replacing booster pumps at the Willamette National Cemetery, with the procurement reference number 907-M&R-FY25-056.

RFIS 36C78625B0025 Willamette Booster Pump Replacement 907-M&R-FY25-056

1. Please confirm the model of the existing pumps, 15 and 20 Horsepower. We do not have any records of make or model number for these boosters they are about 15- 20 years old.

1. What are the duties of each total dynamic head GPM? Having this information helps us in the replacement sizing of each. These booster pumps run in tandem with 2 other motors to achieve volume and pressure in the irrigation system. Also working off a floating rotation of primary and secondary motors so it is hard to say what the output will be at each phase primary and or secondary.

1. Is it possible to receive some photos of the booster pumps and the whole area where they are located? These motors are located at the bottom of a 120,000 gal. reservoir no we cannot provide pictures.
