EHRM Buffalo Design: 36C77622R0064 Amendment 0001 Attachment 1

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Question 1: Will the VA be providing commissioning or if this something the AE will provide:

Answer 1: The engineering group has determined that the commissioning services for this project would be a manageable portion that can and should be included in the A/E proposal. In the SOW there are an increased number of site visits during construction so it should not be a huge difference.

Question 2: Page 1 of Attachment 13, AE Design Statement of Work, states that "the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) does not apply, a Security Accreditation Package is not required". Will you please verify that this means that the physical security professional holding either a Certified Protection

Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification issued by ASIS International (page

6 of presolicitation notice) is NOT required for this project?

Answer 2: The physical security professional holding either a Certified Protection Professional

(CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification issued by ASIS International (page 6 of presolicitation notice) is NOT required for this project.
