EHRM Admin & Training Space Support Danville Technical Questions

1. I plan to include a price for the Reseeding of the Trailer Area and Stockpile areas shown on Plan C1003, though there is not reference to this work. Seeding the construction trailer & stockpile areas at the end of the project is not required.

2. My real Issues start with Plan CJ 101, marked as Phase 2, first I am unable to print the plan as it is marked “Read Only” so I am trying to check things on the computer screen. The Take-off list is not working correctly for me as well, so I am hand measuring. That as a backdrop, my measurement of the Seeding indicated on the perimeter and a couple spots within the Gravel is coming up at about 8,100 sq. ft. but when I compared it to the Architect’s Estimate, I find they list 3,200 sq. yds. or 28,800sq. ft. That is a large difference. The contractor shall base their quantities on what is depicted on the plans.

3. Then on Plan CS 102, marked as Phase 3, I measure about 52,100 sq. ft of Seed but the Architect’ Estimate shows nothing for Seeding. See response to no. 2 above.

4. Even if I combined to 2 Plan amounts, I am not even close to the Estimate amount as I show 60,200 sq. ft. of total seeding and the Architect only shows the 3,200 sq. yds. or 28,800 sq. ft. That is a difference of a total seeding amount of 31,400 sq, ft. more that I figure. (Phase 2 the architect shows 20,700 sq. ft more than my measurements). See response to no. 2 above.

5. Please provide an acceptable haul route from the worksite to the stockpile location. Are there certain roads we are not allowed to use on the campus. (1.9 Miles, 5 min drive) See attached for acceptable haul route.

6. Are there any infection control requirements for this project? Infection control is not required.

7. Please provide the waterproofing requirements for the coring into the existing structure. The conduits and core shall be filled properly at the building and shall be watertight.

8. Do we need to include costs for hazardous material testing? Hazardous material testing is not anticipated.

9. Will there be any asbestos abatement being done on this project? Is there an lead based paint abatement required as part of this project? Asbestos abatement is not anticipated.

10. Is erosion control blanket required on the new stockpile? Please provide the stabilization requirements for the stockpile. An erosion control blanket shall be provided if the stockpile slopes are greater than 3:1. If less than 3:1 an erosion control blanket is not required. However, in both cases the stockpile area shall be seeded and mulched for the duration between phase 2 & 3.

11. Please provide a model number of the new CT’s? If not, we would need the desired Ratio, physical specification, Ratio, ratings of CT and any other ratings that may be desired. . We reviewed our photos of the switchgear; the manufacturer appears to be GE. The GE table shows a 300/5 ratio for the phase conductors and a 50/5 ratio for the ground. This appears to be common to all the other feeders in the switchgear lineup. The protective relay is shown as a GE SR350.
