QUESTION GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

57. 26 August

9/2/2021 Project duration shows 90 calendar days. If project is awarded by October 1st that would most likely put our asphalt work in December. Asphalt contractors exclude warranty on work after mid-

November till mid-March. Would it be acceptable to wait till March to finish up the asphalt work even though that would put us past the 90 calendar days?

An asphalt warranty may be excluded if the final asphalt work is completed outside the industry standard warranty period and within the contract time allotment. This does not preclude the contractor from providing a quality installation.
