Vendor Questions in Bold/VA Responses in Red
1. Is Solicitation 36C26326Q0888 designated as Small Business or SDVOSB set aside? Page 1 indicates a small business set aside, whereas page 25 references “852.215-70 SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED AND VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS EVALUATION FACTORS (DEVIATION)”.
The solicitation is designated as a Small Business set aside. The clause 852.215-70 SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED AND VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS EVALUATION FACTORS (DEVIATION) permits SDVOSBs to submit offers under the small business set aside, as they are classified as small businesses.
2. For Solicitation 36C26326Q0888, Section B.3.4(q) requires the contractor to provide “pre-cleaning and reprocessing instructions for use.” Please confirm what documentation the VA expects for this skid steer requirement. Would the manufacturer’s standard cleaning, maintenance, and operator manual instructions satisfy this item, or is a separate document required?
The “contractor to provide pre-cleaning and reprocessing instructions for use” has been removed from the statement of work, as it is not required for this solicitation. It will be removed from the statement of work.
