About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 23 on April 9, 2026, for solicitation number 36C26326Q0492. The amendment updates the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to remove unneeded language and requirements, with the closing date remaining unchanged. One copy of the amendment must be returned to the issuing office, and contractor acknowledgment is required prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation.
The underlying solicitation is for Bayer/Medrad Equipment Service Contract maintenance across VISN 23 facilities (Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota). The contract period consists of three one-year ordering periods from the date of award. The contractor must maintain and provide preventive maintenance (PM) for contrast injectors listed across nine VA medical centers and divisional facilities, totaling 73 devices of various models (Mark 7 Arterion, Stellant Flex, MRXperion, and others). Key service requirements include annual preventive maintenance for each device; provision of PM kits and parts; Certegra software updates with monthly monitoring and 30-day application timelines; remote or on-site software support; customer telephone support during regular business hours; and comprehensive Field Service Reports acceptable for Joint Commission purposes. Acceptable quality levels mandate 100% compliance with preventive maintenance standards unless otherwise noted, 2-hour telephone response and 24-hour onsite response for software support, and documentation delivery within 30 days of completion. Bidders must have OEM-trained field service representatives located within 5 hours of each medical center and provide factory-certified training documentation upon request. This is a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. All questions must be submitted 72 hours before the closing date to jennifer.Watkins-schoenig@va.gov and joshua.Imdacha@va.gov.
