About this file
This is a Presolicitation Notice for a sole source, firm-fixed price contract issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 23. The contract is for an upgrade to the Surgical Lights, Booms, and Integration System at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System, specifically requiring Karl Storz equipment that will integrate with existing infrastructure. The procurement is intended to be awarded to L1 Enterprises under the authority of 38 USC 8127(c) for a verified service-disabled veteran-owned small business, with a NAICS code of 339112 and product service code 6515.
Interested vendors may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations to the contract specialist Michael Wicht at michael.wicht@va.gov by 11:00 AM Central Time on June 04, 2025. While the government considers L1 Enterprises the only viable vendor due to their indefinite delivery vehicle with Karl Storz equipment, alternative vendors are invited to demonstrate their capabilities. The final determination on whether to conduct a competitive procurement remains solely at the government's discretion, and any submitted documentation will be reviewed to assess potential competition.
