About this file

This document is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network 23 Contracting Office seeking market research for a specific medical equipment procurement. The VA is requesting information from potential vendors for a brand-name Interacoustics Micromedical Orion Reclining Rotary Chair system, which includes multiple components such as a rotary chair with VNG capabilities, a caloric irrigator, VNG TV, OtoAccess Database, and an EyeSeeCam vHIT system. The detailed technical specifications require the chair to perform complex vestibular and oculomotor testing functions, including sinusoidal harmonic acceleration, visual ocular reflex testing, and various head movement and eye tracking assessments.

Interested vendors must submit responses by 10:00 am CST on April 16, 2025, to james.miller4@va.gov, providing company details, distribution capabilities, schedule contract information, SAM UEI number, and business size/socioeconomic status. The procurement will be delivered to the NWI VA Health Care System in Omaha, Nebraska, with a requirement that vendors be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealers offering new, warranty-covered equipment. This is a market research initiative and not a formal solicitation, with responses potentially used to inform a future acquisition. The procurement falls under NAICS Code 334510 and Product Service Code 6515, targeting medical diagnostic equipment for vestibular testing.
