Amendment 0001 is being processed to extend the IFB due date by 18 calendar-days, from 2:00 PM (CT) on 20 May 2025 to 2:00 PM (CT) on 6 June 2025. The pre-bid site visit was held on 23 April 2025, with all official questions due NLT 29 April 2025. All questions received were reviewed by the CO, consolidated into one (1) document and provided to the COR on 1 May 2025. On 9 May 2025 I received an email from the COR stating there are new federal requirements relating to the HVAC refrigerant that could involve some re-design. I followed up and received another email from the COR on 13 May 2025, stating the same thing, I requested confirmation before cancelling the requirement. On 16 May 2025, the COR provided an email stating he’d been unable to get an estimate from the AE regarding how long a re-design would take, with no confirmation. On 19 May 2025, the CAM contacted me and stated after some research into the possible changes required in a redesign, he did not believe one was required.
The CAM made the decision to press forward with the current design but the answers for the site visit questions have yet to be completed. The Amendment is being accomplished to extend the IFB due date to allow time to complete the responses, issue a second Amendment to publish the responses and then allow enough time for interested vendors to complete their bid.
