About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for integrated pest management services. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking these services for facilities in Nebraska and Western Iowa, including buildings in Omaha, Grand Island, and Fisher House, with a total square footage of approximately 1.1 million. The incumbent contractor has provided adequate services under contract number VA263-17-C-0010. The response due date is extended to November 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM Central Time. The amendment provides responses to vendor questions, including details on the number of previous service calls, existing monitoring devices, and regular service days. It clarifies that the scope has not changed but that facilities were added to the previous contract.

Questions and Answers

1. Question: Is there an incumbent? What is the previous awarded solicitation number, date awarded and awarded value?

Response: Yes, the contract number is VA263-17-C-0010. Additional information regarding the contract can be found at FPDS-NG.

2. Question: What is the number of hours each month the previous contractor spent on site at each location to provide the pest services to all areas outlined within the scope of service? Does the government consider this service adequate?

Response: The government does not mandate a number of hours spent on site. The contractor determines this based on the SOW. We recommend vendors to schedule a site visit. The government does consider the current service to be adequate.
