About this file
This is an amendment to a previous combined solicitation for a scope system acquisition issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office in Long Beach, California. The amendment addresses questions received from potential offerors regarding solicitation 36C26226Q1470 and extends the response deadline to Friday, September 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The Government clarified that the salient characteristics listed in the original solicitation represent clinically necessary requirements and that the Pure Processing ergonomic workstation and monitor mount connection is based on existing infrastructure. Regarding "Brand Name or Equal" submissions, the Government confirmed that equivalent solutions must meet all listed salient characteristics to be considered technically acceptable.
The underlying solicitation is a set-aside for Small Business concerns for the procurement of scope systems for endoscopic procedures at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The acquisition includes 16 units each of HD Monitors (INS9900), LED Scopes 1.9mm x 2M (INS9904), and HD Mini Scopes 1mm x 1M (INS9902). Key requirements include waterproof borescopes (IP65 monitors and IP6 borescopes), high-resolution imaging capabilities, standalone touch monitors with minimum 13-inch displays, holster mounting systems, USB recording and documentation capabilities, automatic white balance, ergonomic one-plug connectors, annotation features, and brightness adjustment. The period of performance is 90 days after receipt of order, with all supplies to be delivered to 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90037, with shipping included and FOB destination terms.
