The parts must meet or exceed the currently existing parts.
7. The Period of Performance on the SOW states Base Year begins 3/13/2024, however the price schedule states 6/1/2024. Please confirm the correct period of performance for Base Year.

10. Regarding the 1-hour response time: Will we need to physically be on site within an hour of an emergency call placed? Are all calls for service expected to be 'emergency' or will some be considered 'lower priority'? We have seen structures like the following:
Priority 1 Emergency arrival within 4hrs (Overtime rates) Priority 2 Same Day within 8 hrs. (Standard rates) Priority 3 Next day (Standard rates) Priority 4 Standard 2–3-day arrival (Standard rates)
The technician is expected to be on site within one hour of the emergency call.
11. For the Asbestos areas in the SD VAMC Bldg. 1, Main Bldg.: Does the VA have any asbestos reports it can provide? Are the asbestos requirements just for techs working in that building to be certified for their own safety? Is the Contractor expected to abate any asbestos found? More info on the asbestos requirements would be helpful.

14. How much of a buffer/grace period should the awardee expect from the time the project is awarded to boots on the ground to get all manpower, certifications, schedules, and processes approved and in place?
To be determined by the project manager / COR.
15. Does the VA have any data regarding the quantity of callouts/emergency services per year?
This data is not currently available.
16. For SOW 6.5.1- Do these doors have to be upgraded to Dormakaba or is the VA open to alternatives such as Stanley?

17. To facilitate a smooth and efficient process, we kindly request clarification regarding the pricing schedule. The quantity is listed as 1, with the unit being "each." Could you please confirm if this indicates pricing for one individual door for Preventative Maintenance (PM), or if there may be an error in the specifications?
