Q: How many afterhours service requests have there been in the past 24 months at Long Beach VAMC?

A: After hour request is not mentioned on the SOW will be considered an Emergent Call for Service. There have been zero (0) since August 2023.

Q: What is the number of bed bug service requests at Long Beach VAMC over the past 24 months?

Year/AMT A: Year 2022/61 calls, Year 2023/43 calls. This is a Total of 104 in a 24-month period.

Q: What is the number of cockroach service requests at Long Beach VAMC over the past 24 months?

A: Year 2022/79 calls, Year 2023/83 calls. This is a total of 162 in a 24-month period.

Q: Has any of the SOW changed from this Solicitation compared to that of the last awarded contract? If so, what changed or was added?

Q: Can the government clarify the frequency of services; will this be a Daily or Weekly service for Long Beach VAMC?

A: Review Section D.1 - Statement of Work each specific areas have different levels of frequency described in all sections throughout, and in Section 3 Buildings to be Serviced is the day of the week schedule.

Q: Can the government provide the current number of Bait Stations installed at the Long Beach VAMC?

A: Section D.1 - Statement of Work will be revised to include in section 3.1 “Technician to provide interior & exterior service for buildings #600 & #800, add additional exterior bait station

(92) throughout campus”. Listed buildings shall include 120 bait stations.”

Q: Can the government clarify how many Emergency service requests in the past 24 months?

A: Year 2022/206 calls, Year 2023/241 call. This is a total of 447 in a 24-month period.

Q: How many wood-destroying organisms services requests have occurred at Long Beach VAMC in the past 24 months?

A: Year 2023/5 requests. This is a total of 5 in a 24-month period.

Q: What is the number of lice service requests at Long Beach VAMC in the past 24 months?

A: This data is not currently available, but the frequency would be periodical.

Q: What is the number of wildlife service requests at the Long Beach VAMC in the past 24 months?

A: There have been two (2) wildlife animals caught during the last 24 months.

Q: Can the government provide the current number of Fly lights installed at the Long Beach VAMC?

A: The VA does not have this count at this time, but will require 16 lights, with the possibility of adding more as needed.

Q: Can the government provide clarification on additional exterior bait stations (92) throughout the Long Beach VAMC, will this be in addition to the current bait station already installed at the facility?

A: This request is to provide the additional support needed for the New buildings 600 and 800 as stated in the SOW section 3.1 and 3.2.

Current Status: Pending release date form Engineering estimated to be after July 1, 2024. This date may change due to pending construction. A date will be provided to the contractor once confirmed to the VA.
