#VENDOR QUESTIONSANSWERSx
Due to next week being a short holiday week can RFP be extended 5 days business days after the questions have been answered? The deadline for offers will be extended to Friday, December 3, 2021 @ 1:00PM PST.
Control volumes are underestimated on attachments +A Annual site vol. Tab 2. The control volume is estimated to be 500 a year on the RFP. How did you come up with this value?See clarifications below.
Running daily Serum Electrophoresis requires 16 controls results per day (Normal control 8 results and Hypergamma control 8 results) For example daily controls would be 16 x 5 days x 52 weeks is 4,160 control results a year vs 500 controls a year on the RFP. Do we use the assumption of daily operation. Please use higher number of 4160 controls.
Running Urine control requires 8 controls results per day of instrument usage. Daily controls would be 8 x 5 days X 52 weeks is 2,080 vs 500. Do we use the assumption of daily operation? Please use number of 1248 controls. (3 days per week)
Running daily Immunotyping Capillary control s requires 6 control each day of testing. For example 6 x 5 days x 52 weeks is 1560 controls per year vs 250 in the RFP. Do we uses the assumption of daily operation? Please use number 1560 controls.
How many days of the week do we use for testing on each assay? This will affect how many controls will be needed.Serum performed daily, Urine 2-3 times per week, ImmunoTyping 2-3 times per week, ImmunoFixation as needed (max 2 times per week).
The estimated 5% repeat rate was calculated using which values? It is not clear from the grid.Estimated 5% repeat rates is our standard repeat inclusion to include speciment integrity issues, instrument errors, etc… The estimated repeat volume is calculated (Est. Test Volume + # of controls) x 5% Repeat Rate.
