About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation 36C26126Q0953 addressing clarifications on the Metasys Calibration Services requirement for the Department of Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System. Three substantive questions were submitted and answered regarding contract specifications and terms.

The first clarification addressed the applicable Wage Determination, with the contractor initially referencing WD 2015-5693 (Revision 27) which incorrectly applied to Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, and Wake Island rather than Fresno, California. The Government corrected this to WD 2015-5609 (Revision 31, dated 8/22/26). The second question concerned the scope of recalibration services for temperature and humidity sensors under option CLINs 1003, 2003, 3003, and 4003, which were confirmed to require "Annual Recalibration Service for External Temperature/Humidity Sensors" consistent with base CLIN 0003. The third clarification resolved conflicting language regarding contract duration; the Government confirmed that the one-year maximum language in FAR 52.217-9 was included in error and will be corrected in the final contract. The intended award structure is a one-year base contract with four one-year options for annual calibration, repair, and system accuracy verification of the Metasys Building Automation System to maintain compliance with VA, OSHA, Joint Commission, and applicable Federal regulations.
