About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation document (SF 30, Amendment 0001) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 for Solicitation 36C26126Q0573, dated April 6, 2026. The amendment extends the deadline for receipt of offers to April 21, 2026 at 10:00 PDT and provides responses to questions submitted by offerors prior to the original due date.
The solicitation concerns recertification of 17 anti-ligature door alarms at a VA facility. Key details from the Q&A responses include: there is no incumbent contractor; one door currently has an issue being addressed under a separate contract; the doors and Top Door Alarm brand sensors were installed between 2022 and 2024 and last certified during that same period; no fire doors are involved; ANSI certification for technicians is required only if mandated by the alarm manufacturer; a certification report will be required upon completion; preliminary inspections are not needed as inspection is part of the recertification process; and any repairs identified during certification will be handled through separate transactions or contracts depending on dollar amount, as repairs are not included in the current Performance Work Statement scope. Wage determination requirements are referenced as attached documentation. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the extended deadline by completing the required forms, acknowledging receipt on their offer copies, or submitting separate written communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.
