This mandate includes equipping each firearm with a weapon-mounted light, optic, and holster. VACO and OS&LE can enforce compliance by penalizing police departments through measures such as decertification or removing accreditation. The memo specifies the below branding for holsters, flashlights, and optics to ensure compliance.
