Laundry Services for VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) and San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) 36C26122Q0032 Questions and Answers Question: Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number?
Answer: Yes, there was an incumbent and any additional information must be requested through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Question: On the past performance survey do you want another hospital past performance survey or it can just be any company we have worked with in the past?
Answer: Per the solicitation “a. Provide up to five, most recent (within the past 5 years) and relevant (similar size and magnitude) references that are likely to respond to the past performance survey. Include in your references the following information: Name of the Company, address, current Point of Contact’s name, phone numbers and a valid email address.”
And The past performance evaluation assesses the level of expectation the Government has in an offeror’s ability to meet the requirements of the solicitation, based on a demonstrated record of performance.
In the case of an offeror without a record of relevant past performance or for whom information on past performance is not available or so sparse that no meaningful past performance rating can be reasonably assigned, the offeror may not be evaluated favorably or unfavorably on past performance. Therefore, the offeror shall be determined to have unknown past performance.
In conducting the past performance evaluation, the Government reserves the right to use both the information provided by the offeror, and information obtained from other sources, such as the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) or similar systems and commercial sources.
Provide up to five, most recent (within the past 5 years) and relevant (similar size and magnitude) references that are likely to respond to the past performance survey. Relevant means similar in scope, magnitude of effort and complexity to the subject requirement. The Contracting Officer will evaluate past performance and may contact sources provided in the survey as necessary.
Question: Is the poundage shown per year poundage or annual?
Answer: The poundage is estimated annual.
Question: If company can handle the work load in a 5 day work week can we do that? Instead of 7?
