Solicitation 36C26121Q0642 Amendment No. 2 Answers and Questions As of 26 May 2021

Question 1: We wanted to confirm the NAICS code selected for this solicitation. Our company has performed this service before, but we are registered under a different NAICS code. Can we still quote on this?

Answer 1: Because the Government has set-aside this procurement as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), the proposing contractor must be a verified SDVOSB under selected NAICS 541330.

Question 2: Will a Life Safety Technician with at least 5 years of experience and completed 10 or more SOC surveys at healthcare facilities be acceptable as ‘or equal’ in lieu of FPE?

Answer 2: Yes

Question 3: If an engineer is required for the project is the VA’s expectation they will provide project oversight and to review deliverables OR that they will be onsite 100% of the time actually collecting data?

Answer 3: The VA’s expectation is that the engineer will provide project oversight and review deliverables produced by the experienced life safety technician.

Question 4: If an engineering degree is required for the project, will any discipline be acceptable as long as they have at least 5 years of experience and completed 10 or more SOC surveys at healthcare facilities?

Answer 4: Yes.

Question 5: Are the mechanical drawings for the project available?

Answer 5: The mechanical drawings are available and have been attached to the solicitation.
