1. Overhead Lifts - usually we change the batteries as needed, but you are asking for 20 in the SOW -

0. Please clarify - is that 20 EXTRA? Do you still want us to change the batteries as needed?

ANSWER: Called vendor to clarify. They meant lift cartridges. Cartridges will be changed as needed. Price schedule has been updated so vendors can submit a quote for an estimated 20 lift cartridges a year (Line Item 2 on Price Schedule).

1. Floor Lifts - These batteries are very expensive (some are over $500 each). How do you want us to bid this?

1. If these floor lifts are maintained and kept plugged in, the batteries have a longer lift.

1. We would recommend assessing which floor lifts need batteries at the time of the PM and issuing a change order. If we bring enough batteries for your 127 floor lifts the cost will be upwards of $70,000 ANSWER - Here are the numbers for average replacement batteries per year:

· Portable lifts about 45-60 per year (especially the long ones KPS0100 type)

· Ceiling lifts about 4 cases per month so 480 batteries (remember two per lift) For Line Item 1 of price schedule, vendors must submit quote for all inclusive Repair and Maintenance of all lift devices. This includes labor and supplies.
