CONTINUATION PAGE

1.Will this job site require union labor? Our current installation crew is non-union.
Not required
2.B.2 Price/Cost Schedule requires unit pricing in EA. It also requires install/removal and training in JB. What does JB stand for?
JB is short for Job, since the install/training is not a physical deliverable item.
3.Installation and Removal/Disposal are required yet we have no knowledge of site conditions or full scope of work required. Is there an opportunity for a site walk-through?
We’ve included picture below, that should hopefully suffice
4.Typically when we remove equipment and install new equipment we do not disconnect or reconnect utilities. Or provide any site modifications which might be required to install the new washer. I am assuming a general contractor will be handling these items?
Facility Maintenance Staff (FMS) will hire contractors or perform in house the utility disconnect and reconnect and perform necessary site modifications.
5.The washer typically is installed in a pit. Would you happen to know the pit length, width and depth?
The pit is 117” wide, 177 “ long and 27” deep. The current cart washer does not take up the entire pit so there is grating over areas that it does not fill.
6.Do you have any photos of the loading dock, doorways and hallways, perhaps elevator dimensions. Anything that will give us an idea of site access for equipment removal and equipment installation.
The loading dock is on level B2. The kitchen is above on level B1. There is a freight elevator from B2 to B1. The dock will accommodate a 53’ trailer with a reasonable tractor. Tractors with extra long sleepers have a difficult time at our dock. Skilled drivers can make it happen.
Elevator: 88” wide, 93” tall, 86” deep.

8’ corridors with 88” wide by 7’ doors on the path to the space.

Space has a 44” wide by 7’ door off of the 8’ corridor
