About this file
This is Amendment 0002 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20 in Vancouver, Washington, for meal delivery carts for White City VA Medical Center. The solicitation number is 36C26026Q0344, with an effective date of March 5, 2026, and the closing date has been extended to March 9, 2026 at 4:00 PM PDT.
The requirement specifies four compact meal delivery carts with 2-door, 2-compartment configuration and three carts with 1-door, 1-compartment configuration. All carts must be constructed of stainless steel for sanitation purposes, feature 3-sided top rails, gravity-locking doors with door stops, sound-dampening bearing covers, wrap-around bumpers, and vertical push handles. The 2-door carts require six 8-inch casters configured as four swivel casters (with at least two locking, preferably all four) plus two fixed center wheels, and must hold at least 24 trays in multiple sizes (12" x 19", 12" x 20", 14" x 18", 15" x 20"). The 1-door carts require four 8-inch casters with two locking-swivel and two fixed casters, and must hold at least 12 trays. Delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of order (ARO) to the facility dock. The Buy American Act applies to this acquisition, and for "Brand Name or Equal" submissions, manufacturer technical literature demonstrating compliance with salient characteristics is sufficient; a detailed compliance matrix is not required.
