About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 36C26025Q0204 for dental prosthetics services at VA Puget Sound Healthcare System. The amendment responds to contractor questions and updates the Individual Price Schedule by removing CLINs 101, 107, 111, 130, 140, 148, 161, and 213, while adding new CLINs 217-228 for implant-supported and abutment-supported crowns.
The amendment clarifies technical requirements through Q&A responses, specifying that high noble alloy should be used, OEM titanium abutments are required from Nobel or Dentsply, both monolithic and layered zirconia options should be available, and name brand porcelains like ArgenZ, Ivoclar ZirCad, Dentsply Cercon, and Katana should be used. Cost specifications were clarified for various items including that teeth costs should be included in CLINs 84 and 92, implant labor costs should be built into abutment/crown prices, and solid model pricing should be reflected in the difference between model-free and non-model-free options.
