About this file
This file is an amendment to a previous solicitation for grease trap and vault cleaning services issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 19) in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The solicitation number is 36C25926Q0881, with a response deadline of October 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM Mountain Time. The service will be performed at the Oklahoma City Health Care System located at 921 Northeast 13th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104-5007. The Product Service Code is S222 (Sanitation and Cleaning Services), and the NAICS code is 562998. The contracting office point of contact is Contract Specialist Peyton Wilkerson at Peyton.Wilkerson1@va.gov.
The solicitation seeks annual grease trap and vault cleaning services with pricing based on 12 services per year, spaced as evenly as possible. Services are recommended between 06:00-07:00 or 16:00-17:00 and require 48 hours advance written notice to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to inform staff and minimize operational disruptions. The government will provide water for cleanup at the loading dock. The grease trap was last serviced approximately 180 days prior, and construction has minimized grease accumulation in the vault. Site visits were deemed unnecessary, as the Statement of Work provides sufficient detail for offerors to prepare proposals. This is a set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC).

Questions for RFQ 36C25926Q0881 – Grease Trap/Vault Cleaning
1. Would it be possible to arrange a site visit to inspect the grease trap sometime before the 9th? The scope of this project is deemed not technical enough to require a site visit. One will not be scheduled at this time. The performance work statement is thorough and details the services needed. Modifications can be made, as necessary, once the contract is in place.
2. Could you please let me know when the grease trap was last serviced? It was last serviced approximately 180 days ago. The construction has eliminated the grease usage, so the trap/vault has minimal grease as of now.
3. SOW Section 2 requires service every 20 to 40 days and states service is expected once every month. For pricing the annual CLINs, should offerors assume 12 services per year for both the grease trap/vault and the canteen container? Yes, 12 per year but as evenly spaced as possible.
4. Will water (e.g., a hose bib) be government-provided at the loading dock for cleanup around the grease trap and container, or should the contractor bring its own water supply? The water will be provided by the Government.
5. SOW 7.2 recommends service between 06:00-07:00 or 16:00-17:00, which is outside the normal operational hours in SOW 7.3. Does the SOW 7.6 written COR approval with 48 hours advance notice apply to each routine monthly service in those windows, or only to work outside the recommended windows? Yes, the COR will need to be notified ahead of each visit to inform leadership and staff to help minimize complaints of odors.
