About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for Solicitation 36C25926Q0114, a VA Health Administration air balance service contract. The Q&A reveals key details about the project, including that NEBB certification is specifically required for testing and balancing HVAC systems, and no site visit will be conducted. The government will provide floor plans of the rooms to be tested, and contractors are expected to perform air flow measurements representative of the specified rooms.
The solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 19 (VA VHA VISN 19). Contractors seeking to participate must have NEBB certification and the ability to conduct detailed HVAC system air flow readings. Potential bidders requested additional documentation like facility drawings and past reporting examples, to which the government responded by offering floor plans of the relevant rooms. The project appears to focus on technical HVAC testing and balancing services for specific VA facility spaces.
