About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document providing additional clarification for a Patient Monitoring System Upgrade project at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center (solicitation 36C25925R0017). The document addresses technical requirements including the need for 50 total EEG modules (40 for ICU, 10 for anesthesia), 50 total BIS modules, and 23 cardiac output parameter modules distributed across various departments.

The document clarifies that the vendor must supply an isolated, stand-alone patient monitoring network infrastructure rather than using the VA's existing network. Other specifications include 168 total telemetry monitor batteries (distributed across multiple floors), 27 seven-slot telemetry monitor battery chargers, and integration requirements for Edwards monitoring equipment (3 Hemosphere modules and 7 EV1000 modules). The vendor must provide Cat6 cable materials and labor for all central stations and remote mirrors. Floor plans for wireless coverage planning were made available as an amendment attachment, with a submission deadline extended to February 28, 2025.
