Final Question and Answers

Question 1: Of the multiple hotels we have contacted, none offer their own shuttle service; they use a third party. This service usually works when there are large groups and has the potential to increase the price per stay. To give you the best service and quote, we need to verify whether the shuttle service from 5 PM until 9 PM is a requirement or just a request.

I want to clarify that the VA will provide shuttle service for this procurement starting at 9 AM. Is that correct? Please provide the detailed schedule to share with the interested hotels for clarity and transparency.

Government Response: The VA may be able to provide shuttle services. There is not a dedicated shuttle schedule to provide. Veterans are responsible for providing their own transportation. The VA will not be paying for the shuttle services as a part of this requirement. It is a request that shuttle service is available if a Veteran would need it. If a Veteran use it, they are responsible for payment.
