About this file

This document contains responses to requests for information (RFIs) regarding Solicitation Number 36C25924R0011 from the Department of Veterans Affairs for repair work to a chilled water cistern and heat exchanger at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. The responses indicate that for the limited scope of this project, a single individual may serve as the superintendent, site safety and health officer, and contractor quality control manager provided they are qualified for each role. No asbestos is expected to be encountered during the work but the contractor should notify the VA if any is suspected. New roofing components will be installed to match the existing roof over the cistern. This is a design-bid-build project, not a design-build project.
