Questions and Answers
Question 1: Has the Government determined an Occupation Code based on the released Wage Determination?
Governments Response: Occupation Code – Title: 23370 - General Maintenance Worker
Question 2: Is this considered a new opportunity? Would the Government please provide the incumbent contractor’s name and contract number?
Governments Response: This is considered a new opportunity. There is no incumbent contractor.
Question 3: After careful evaluation of the PWS, the scope is very broad, and has many components. It is extremely challenging to find all the requested skill sets in One (1) FTE, and especially with SCA Rate. Would the Government be flexible in waiving SCA condition for the above position, and also revising the PWS so it is more specific?
Governments Response: The Government has defined the need accurately with in the performance work statement and will not be changing it. The SCA wage determinations apply to Federal Government and District of Columbia contracts, the principal purpose of which is to furnish services through the use of service employees. Each such contract in excess of $2,500 (and the related bid solicitation) is required to contain provisions that specify the monetary wages and fringe benefits to be paid service employees engaged in the contract’s performance. Therefore, it cannot be “waived” as a requirement.
Question 4: Is this a new requirement? If not, can the government please provide details about the incumbent contractor (name, contract number, and value of the contract)? Is the incumbent eligible to rebid on this opportunity?
Governments Response: This is considered a new opportunity. There is no incumbent contractor.
Question 5: What is the anticipated award date?
Governments Response to question 5: The anticipated award date is prior to April 01, 2024.
The close date listed in Section XV is here by updated to March 08, 2024, at 14:30PM MST.
No other changes are being made and no additional questions will be accepted for this requirement.
