Pre-Bid Meeting

FOR

Sanitary Sewer Replacement

The Fort Harrison VAMC has a requirement for a contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, and other services as necessary for Project 436-20-105, Sanitary Sewer Replacement at the Fort Harrison VAMC, located at 2360 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636.

Time: 12/29/2020, 10:00 AM MDT

Location: Fort Harrison VAMC, 2360 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636, Building 141, Room 250.

AGENDA:

• Introduction of Contract Specialist/Contracting Officer/COR o Contract Specialist—Robyn Young o Contracting Officer—Joseph Wingfield o COR—Aaron Drivdahl

• The pre-bid meeting/site walk is not mandatory

• QUESTIONS During site visit MUST BE WRITTEN DOWN

o Electronic submissions to Robyn.young2@va.gov

• Pertinent Dates:

o Questions are due by 01/04/2021 at 2:00 pm MT, and any questions submitted after this time will not be reviewed or answered. Submit to Robyn.young2@va.gov. Answers will be posted via solicitation amendment.

o Proposals due on 01/13, 2021 at 2:00 PM MT via email. Proposals received after that date and time will be late and not considered.

• Confirmation of construction range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.

• Bid Guarantee & Payment/Performance Bonds: No bid guarantee is expected to be required for this solicitation. However, if the award exceeds $35,000, Alternative Payment Protection is required, and that will be in the form of either a Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit.

• Contractor shall begin performance within 10 days after Notice To Proceed (NTP) and complete within 100 days, although bulk of work is expected to take place in 30 days.

• Post Award Compliance:

o Compliance with Davis Bacon Wages and Application wage determination shall be expected of the contractor. The contractor can submit their weekly certified payrolls with their monthly invoice.
