CONTINUATION PAGE

1. Q: Is the freight elevator available to us?

A: Yes, we just need to coordinate it with the building management office ahead of time so I need to know in advance when they would be using it.

1. Q: Will we have dedicated escorts, and can we have more than one?

A: Yes, however we will need prior coordination. We only have three people with access to the data center in our department so if they need to work in more than one area at a time that prior coordination is a must.

1. Q: Can we work extended hours or are we restricted to office hours?

A: Will have to stay with office hours unless its unavoidable, we have one employee with access that begins work at 6am and I leave at 5pm so that would be the workday. We are also on partial telework and have condensed schedules so it would need to be a standard schedule without extended hours.

1. Q: Can we work weekends?

A: No, unless its unavoidable.

1. Q: (Service Requirements #1) For the fan wiring on west dry cooler loop, do we know which fan needs the wiring replaced?

A: Don’t have that information on hand now, I can ask the TSS reps when they come out this month to do the PMs.

1. Q: (Service Requirements #3) For the failed condenser fan assembly on dry cooler Fan Unit #1, do we know which fan unit needs replaced?

A: Don’t have that information on hand now, I can ask the TSS reps when they come out this month to do the PMs.

1. Q: (Service Requirements #7 & #8 & #9 & #1) All require troubleshoot and repair, can we assume a contract modification to accommodate the level of repairs?

A: This will be covered under FAR 52.243-1 Changes- Fixed-Priced clause included in the contract. There will need to be an estimate given to the COR prior to any work being completed.

1. Q: Can we assume that tools can enter and leave the data center without checking in and out?

A: Yes, the tools are checked with security each morning when the vendors sign in and are allowed anywhere in the VA spaces after they have been cleared.

1. Q: Can we assume that there will be space to park and leave a trailer on site during the work effort?

A: We will have to coordinate with building management for this, we can get parking passes for their vehicles from the building but I’m not sure about leaving a trailer onsite. Th building would more than likely not want the liability in case something happened to it overnight.

1. Q: In the office areas, what is the limit of traffic area disruption?

A: This will be dependent on the noise level, will need to know before hand to decide.

1. Q: I was wondering if pictures can be provided in lieu of the site visit. Just in case there is another flare up in coronavirus cases and the solicitation gets pushed back, at least we can base our analysis off pictures provided.

A: There will be no photos provided at this time as there was a site visit held on 17 Sept 2020.
