These are the questions not answered in amendment 0001.
33. What is an example of an “incident of complaint” per Page 8?
Answer #33. The incident of complaint is included in Page 7. Incident of complaint refers to any instance where Veterans, media, area residents, have found advertising content to be inappropriate, inaccurate, or offensive. If/When the advertising agency becomes aware of such concerns, they must contact Office of Communications and Public Affairs, so we can determine the best course of action (removal of ad, edit ad, issue statement, apology, etc. as determined by the nature of the incident).
36.What are some examples of acceptable vs. not acceptable “closed source proprietary analytical software for the purposes analyzing data”?
Answer #36. There are no examples of proprietary analytical software as each company develops their own. Functionality would typically include analytical capability to breakdown advertising data in a variety of formats to determine advertising successes and comparison tools to perform A/B testing of ads. Office of Communications and Public Affairs would be given access to a web-based interface for real-time monitoring of advertising.
