PRODUCT OVERVIEW

VENTURI FX (VFX)

The Price Venturi FX is designed specifically for room pressure applications. Paired with the maintenance-free, high accuracy Price

Pressure Transducer (PTX) and an actuator, the VFX achieves precise airflow measurement and control for healthcare environments.

During operation, the Venturi FX measures flow using non-invasive measuring ports installed perpendicular to the airflow stream, greatly reducing the risk of lint or other airborne particulates interfering with the control or accuracy of the valve. In addition, the Venturi FX operates at a low pressure drop while achieving required airflow.

Several Venturi FX accessories are available with the Venturi FX including silencers, hot water coils certified to AHRI 410 and electric coils ETL certified to UL1996. All accessories are manufactured in-house with designs optimized for close coupling with the valve.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

TOUCHSCREEN ROOM PRESSURE MONITOR (PMT)

The Touchscreen Room Pressure Monitor (PMT) provides precise room pressure monitoring for critical spaces such as isolation rooms, operating rooms, and compounding pharmacies. The monitor meets both the ASHRAE 170 Healthcare Ventilation Standard and the

USP 800 and USP 797 Hazardous Drugs - Handling in Healthcare

Settings requirements. Using an innovative contamination resistant pressure sensor (RPS), the PMT can accurately measure room pressure without risk of degradation over time. The PMT utilizes native BACnet MS/TP communication to seamlessly connect into the Building Management System. The touchscreen monitor is BTL certified, providing simple yet dependable network integration.

TRACKING

CONTROLLER (TC)

Price’s TC controller is designed for tracking pair solutions to provide precision volumetric offset control in operating rooms and critical patient care spaces. This valve mounted controller includes full reheat control and the convenience of native

BACnet communication.

The TC is designed to accurately maintain a user defined volumetric offset between the supply and return/exhaust valve in a VAV system. As the supply valve modulates to satisfy ventilation, temperature or occupancy requirements, the corresponding return/exhaust valve “tracks” to maintain the preset CFM offset in support of maintain room pressure differentials.

Multiple flow feedback input options allow the TC tracking pair controller to be used with Price venturi valves, single-duct terminal units or a combination of both, maximizing valve selection flexibility for system designers. Commissioning software allows quick and thorough setup of the TC system with the ability to generate a printable test report.

Product Features

TC:

• Controls volumetric offset between two valves.

• Standalone or BACnet network operation.

• Adjustment of sequence parameters, settings, and balancing are possible from the password-protected service menu of LCD thermostats.

• Service port on all thermostat models provides a computer…
