About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) response for Solicitation 36C25725Q0527, a VA project to fix restroom partitions at the San Antonio VA facility. The RFI addresses seven key questions from potential contractors, covering project details such as hazardous material handling, infection control requirements (ICRA), subcontractor needs, work hours, project delivery method, fire watch requirements, and fire suppression system status. The responses clarify that no asbestos abatement or lead/mold removal is needed, work can be performed during normal hours, no proprietary subcontractors are required, the project is not a design-build effort, no 24-hour fire watch is necessary, and the existing fire suppression system will remain in place.
