1. What is the projected service commencement date?
Theirs is not a specific POP beginning date. It is estimated to begin on June 6, 2025 or later date.
2. What two sites will the unit move between a couple times per year?
Is that up to 2 times per year, per clinic?
Can you please confirm that annually the Mobile MRI trailer will only be moved a minimum of 2 times per year?
Can you please give reasoning why the MRI trailer needs to be relocated during the year?
what is the frequency of moving the mobile unit from site to site? Is it weekly, monthly, etc.?
Second, is there a specific route or pattern that is followed?
The two sites would be the Big Spring VA facility and the Abilene CBOC. They will move every 6 months to accommodate both locations and surrounding communities in that location. The route to be followed would be Interstate 20 for 107 miles and approx. 1 hr. 35 min.
3. Are two technologists a mandate or would a tech and a tech aide be Acceptable Two MRI Tech’s is what’s being requested. This is for if one is out the other can still examine patients. Each MRI Tech will be at their assigned level 1 or level 2 area.
4. Will both MRI techs be required to work at the same time.
No, we require two techs to be available in case the primary technician is not able to work.
5. When will the MRI be required to be moved to each location and what is the best route? Locations will be rotated on a 6-month basis, or as sufficient locations are setup to accept the MRI, but no sooner than 6 months. The company will select the most advantageous route possible in order to reduce government cost when transporting the MRI.
