About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 36C25725Q0165 for Chiller Water Treatment Services at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, issued by the VA Network Contracting Office 17.

The amendment provides answers to technical questions regarding the water treatment services for tower systems at 6 buildings. Key clarifications include: contractors must obtain measurements, tonnage, and volume during mandatory site visits; the VA owns and will retain ownership of chemical feed equipment, controllers, pumps, and double-wall storage tanks; an oxidizing biocide/bio dispersant program is required; and testing must be conducted every other week (26 visits per year). The loops are currently in treatment range.
