About this file
This document is an amendment to a previous combined solicitation from the Department of Veterans Affairs seeking laundry delivery driver services. The solicitation number is 36C25723Q1315 with a response deadline of September 13, 2023 at 4:00 PM Central Time. Offerors are to deliver clean linens and other laundry items between the Doris Miller VA Medical Center in Waco, Texas and various laundry facilities using trailers provided by the VA. Drivers will be responsible for pre- and post-trip inspections of the trailers but will not handle any linens. Laundry facilities will load and secure carts onto the trailers. Emergency Saturday deliveries may be required when road conditions prevent regular service. The amendment provides additional details on driver responsibilities and clarifies that they will not count or verify linens, but receive load tickets from laundry facilities instead.
