About this file
This document contains responses to contractor questions regarding Solicitation Number 36C25722B0039 to replace isolation valves and correct plumbing at a Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility. The solicitation involves replacing valves and RPZs, which may require night and weekend work. Contractors will be responsible for obtaining keys to access areas and shutting off valves without VA assistance. Work can begin after 5 PM on weekdays and at 6 AM on weekends. The project does not allow pro press joining. Confined space work in an electrical room with a 2 foot crawl space will require contractors to specify how lines will be frozen and negative pressure maintained for soldering or bracing.
