5. While working on our proposal for the Floor mats service opportunity we are stumped by an issue, kindly clarify if you could. The Contractor shall pick up the mats from a specific location but when dropping them back will they be dropped in that same location or a different one or are we expected to place them in their correct location individually?
There are two locations for pick-up and delivery of the floor mats: Biloxi, MS and Mobile, AL. Per the Statement of Work, the contractor will pick up weekly on designated days for both locations and drop off at the same location, the same day(s). Per Attachment 1 listed in the solicitation, the floor mats will be picked up and delivered to each building listed for each location.
Questions for RFQ 36C25627Q0028 (Con’d)
6. We can provide high-quality mats that meet your specifications and fulfill your service requirements. However, not all requested sizes are available. Some of the requested sizes are standard sizes, while others can be special-ordered at an additional cost.
Unfortunately, certain sizes are not available in the industry. Would you be open to using standard sizes as substitutes for the requested dimensions where necessary?
This would help us meet your requirements while keeping costs as competitive as possible. Please note that, for scraper mats, the only industry-standard size available is 3' × 5'. Could you please confirm whether these substitutions would be acceptable to you?
Substitutions are not permitted. The contractor is required to provide the mats specified in the Statement of Work.
