The contractor must coordinate service scheduling in advance with the COR to ensure availability at mutually agreeable times.

Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement by September 30, 2026, at 8:00 AM Central Daylight Time to marcus.sidney@va.gov with "Balloon Pump, Notice of Intent" in the subject line. The capabilities statement must provide clear evidence of the party's capability to deliver required services; simply registering on SAM.gov does not constitute adequate evidence. Responses must be submitted in writing; verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable. Respondents must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be eligible for contract award. If no viable responses are received by the deadline, NCO 16 will negotiate solely with Teleflex Medical Incorporated. The government retains discretion to determine whether to conduct a competition based on responses received.
