About this file
This is an Industry Questions and Answers document for a federal tree removal contract solicitation.
The contract requires removal of 23 trees marked with pink "Xs" at an unspecified government location. The contractor is responsible for all debris hauling and disposal, as stumps must be ground and completely removed. This is a new contract with no incumbent contractor. Regarding ground restoration, the contractor must repair any ruts or damage created by equipment and vehicles in lawn areas, filling and sodding to match existing conditions at the contractor's expense. Weather-related ground conditions will be assessed daily as the project progresses, with significant ground impact requiring correction. The Performance Work Statement Section 11 on Restoration remains in full force and effect, requiring all site and building damage caused by contractor operations to be restored to match existing conditions at contractor expense, with seeding not accepted as a restoration method.
